This policy explains how S J Walter Pty Ltd (ABN 50 678 160 373), trading as Specialised Heating & Cooling Bendigo, handles personal information. It covers this website and the enquiries you send us.

What we collect
When you use our quote form we ask for your name and phone number, and optionally your email, suburb, the service you need and a message. If you email us a floor plan or photos, we receive those too.
We only use this to reply to your enquiry, quote on the job and do the work. We don't sell it or pass it to anyone for marketing.
How your enquiry is sent
Our quote form doesn't save your details on the website. When you press send, your enquiry is emailed straight to our office at enquiries@shcbendigo.com.au. We use Brevo, an email delivery service, to send it. Brevo keeps a short-term delivery record, as email services do.
Once it reaches us, your enquiry is kept in our email and job records for as long as we need it to quote, do the work and meet our tax and warranty obligations.
Analytics and embedded content
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages they look at. It uses cookies and collects information like your device, browser, rough location and the pages you visit. It doesn't tell us who you are. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Some pages show content from other services: posts from our Instagram account (run by Meta), a Google Map of our location and fonts from Google Fonts. When those load, your browser connects to those companies and they may set cookies or record your visit under their own privacy policies.
You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
Where your information is stored
Our website runs on servers operated by Lovable and Cloudflare. Some of the services above (Google, Meta, Brevo) may store data outside Australia.
Accessing or correcting your information

Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first and we'll try to sort it out. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
